Details: Food & Water

Nourishment and hydration are the foundations on which we can build a spiritual practice in our bodies. We need fuel and water to sustain us and allow us to connect with nature. The food we eat will be simply cooked backpacking food. We will balance our meals with carbohydrates, fats and proteins.

Example of a day’s meals:

  • Breakfast: Oatmeal with raisins and nuts
  • Lunch: Peanut butter and honey on pita
  • Dinner: Rice, beans, tortillas and cheese

In addition to meals, we will have snacks available to those who get hungry

We will purify ALL of our drinking water. We will vigilantly monitor the purification of water and enforce strict rules about how we purify.
